Vodafone’s new Brisbane workplace promotes creativity and collaboration

Following the success of Vodafone’s headquarters in North Sydney, designed and delivered in 2016, Incorp were engaged again to create a new workplace for their Brisbane team.

The key considerations for Sydney needed to be reflected in the design for Brisbane, that is encouraging creativity and collaboration with the inclusion of open plan kitchen and breakout areas, as well as a variety of collaboration desks.

Vodafone’s Head of Facilities, Matthew Harvey, said, “After the high quality final solution for our Sydney office, and their ability to understand our requirements, the Design and Project Management teams for the Brisbane project were very engaging and efficient. The look and feel of the new Brisbane office is first class.”

Incorp’s talented team created a design that generates an instant feeling of energy and direction as soon as you enter, connecting you to the brand and functional spaces. Their new workplace includes an arrival zone at the entrance, with a feature ceiling and seating, along with Vodafone’s new branding; two meeting rooms with the latest AV facilities; and various workstations to suit all workstyles, including sit-to-stand stations. A dynamic training area was an important must have for Brisbane, so two rooms with projector screens and suitable acoustics were created, which can also double as project spaces.

Feedback received from Vodafone has been great, including Simon Read, Vodafone’s Facilities Project Manager, “The Design team brought a wealth of experience, and the options provided were very well suited to our objectives. The finished workspace looks great, and the Brisbane team are very proud of the new office, which has boosted morale, thanks to more collaborative space.”
